Spellbook might possibly get banned from Steam

Due to a new update in steam. Developers are starting to get banned for false advertisement. This includes videos, Gfx images.

Here is a link with the information about the Ban Hammer on Developers.

Unfortunately Tib's video is misleading which has been stated in the negative comments on steam, along with the gfx images showing Original ISO images and not unity images.

Valve made the gently-worded request in a developer-facing Steamworks post, which was shared on Facepunch and shown to Polygon, among others.

“We ask that any images you upload to the ‘screenshot’ section of your store page should be screenshots that show your game,” the developer wrote.

“This means avoiding using concept art, pre-rendered cinematic stills, or images that contain awards, marketing copy, or written product descriptions. Please show customers what your game is actually like to play.”

There is a part mentioning video's However ill leave that for OZY to find as if TIB gets banned from steam it will be due to this.

Nobody has been banned, nor has Valve threatened to ban anyone.
Both the misleading clickbait you linked and the Steam announcement say nothing about videos. Not sure what you pulled that from. It explicitly says screenshots, literally 30 times. Our video is old and needs to be updated, but it isn't in violation of any rules (Steam employees approved it).
We received this information last week along with every other Steam developer. We're already working on new store media. It takes a few days, and their deadline is months. Relax.

I think its to easy to create a Troll account on the TIB forums.
