Shake up

Current political state of tib is mildly rocky. Should lead to a decent amount of pew in following week.

Repair event would be good.

Knock cp up to 3x in black. 3x garrison engagements.



Rest of current event is decent but maybe make boss hive/stronghold/worlds have a small chance to drop boe in black and slightly higher chance in rift.

Number of big name guns has gone down enough that people are reluctant to try and bust garrisons even if there is a star port on them.
Heck we had first three garrisons with starports on them and nobody even tried to bust. (due to lack of participation most alliances can barely form a bust team capable of knocking down a xx garrison defended, even with a star port)

Right now we're all the way back to defense is overpowered situation that led to carrier tanks being the norm.

Maybe for duration of repair event do something server side to jazz up garrison bust/defense.

At this point there's nothing to lose.

Hell i normally hate change but at this point i'm all for an event where you just go and change a bunch of stuff server side.
Then whoever figures out the changes and posts them to forums first wins some bds or something.

Would encourage people to play to try and figure them out.

Surprise game modifications on the back end would be interesting.
A new "Special Event" would be nice. It's been pinatas since Thanksgiving.
While we're wishing...how about a server reset? I can't be the only one suffering from lag.

Novas and strikes make busting next to impossible.......get rid of those and adjust tanks so they not so OP while busting

Man. Short sighted there. The original problem and still current issue is defense is op.
First was beams. Made it so you had to have a deflector or you would fail.
Then evasion was op.
Then 100 hit eliminated evasion.
Then high damage defenders made tanks necessary.
Strikes were mostly added because one group of ass hats being rolled decided instead of getting creative they needed more help. They basically let a team of carrier tanks steam roll them. Ozy saw this and added more Platforms and strikes.
Now since the game has driven off a lot off the high level guys it's hard enough to get enough damage to drop a properly defended XX garrison. Even with a star port on it due to lack of dps.
The one day a bored jackass decided if he knocked a couple of Novas down to single digit hp and chained them you could stop carrier tanks with ease.

That's where we are now.
Strikes barely factor into the equation for gb. They get used up fast and only stun for a second on engagement sectors.
There's no easy solution that won't put us back into something being out of balance pretty quick.
That's why a bunch of random ass changes that put nobody at any sort of obvious advantage could work.
A bit of chaos into the mix.
