Have an idea that might be neat.
Drop a planet in Rift blue. Start it as a dead world. Then the entire server has to terraform it up to gaia V.
Then hold a vote on forums or in game on what to name it. Could name it after old players/corp or someone that died or Planet McPlanetFace, whatever. lol.
Once it hits gaia V. Move it out to a corner of the map on a neutral, can't be busted, garrison. Could have it randomly be moved around map every once and awhile. Have rewards issued for terraforming it. Would be a pretty good community event.
Could do the same thing with a random planet/garrison deployed in black somewhere off of Grey boarder. This way new players could have access to a gaia if the whole community puts work into it.
For black could do similar event where you drive out to planets parked on corners of maps. When you get there you pick up a load of colonists and bring them to earth to upgrade its ship yard.

Be a good way for newer guys to get colonist achievements, too.

Not having access to Gaia is a redundant problem atm with engagements disabled there’s 5-6 deployed right now. Would rather see new gear new npcs and new content in general.

Also what would really help new players would be fore people to get alts list easier bamf we still have players that are not given alt lists and it’s problematic Cuase everyone is paranoid of spy’s atm and best thing for a real new player is to get in a ally/Corp

Alt lists are completely useless.
Only way to avoid spy paranoia is to have the dipshits running spies to stop.

All these ideas have been implemented in the past and tested. The idea of civilian transporting actually adds another fun-tactical layer into game, the whole idea was to mass transport population from earth to home planet for defence perks. The idea of neutral sectors within red zones was just a complete disaster for the local farmers but a real haven for ganks, I'm sure there are a ton of stuff I don't recall atm regarding random ideas being implemented to see if it sticks...etc.

Use Discord 2 stage verification if needed...easily setup and any newbe player should definitely be encouraged to join us on this platform.
