Similar to attacking, players can repair every few seconds.

Repairing can be activated by long-pressing a non-hostile, or by selecting any ship and choosing Repair from the menu.

Repair Amount
Unlike attacks, Repair is not defined by a range. The amount can be modified by the other attributes:
* Critical Chance
* Hull Repair Bonus
* Critical Bonus
* Splash (Yes, Repair can Splash to repair allies!)

Repair Cooldown
Repair Cooldown is the length of time a ship must wait before repairing again. It can be reduced with:
* Technician Special
* Corporation Technology</rev>

You can see the number of Research Points required to upgrade an item on the Engineering Costs page.

Once every minute, a Corporation's Planet will attempt to upgrade an item placed in the Research Panel. The research will fail if:
* Not enough Research Points have been accumulated to upgrade the item placed in the Research Panel, OR
* No item is placed in the Research Panel

Players can deposit resources to help the Corporation accumulate Research Points at any time, even if no item is placed in the Research Panel.</rev>
