Damage is the amount of a Ship's health depleted by an attack or other Event.

Damage Range

A ship's ability to cause damage by firing its weapon is expressed as a range of values, known as the ship's Damage Range. The maximum of the range is always double the minimum. If a ship's attack results in a successful Hit, but not a Critical hit, the amount of Damage inflicted on the target will be within the attacker's Damage Range.

Damage Modifier

The Damage Modifier Attribute increases or decreases the Damage Range of a Ship when it attacks another Ship. This modifier is expressed as a percentage and affects all Damage inflicted by firing a Weapon.

Damage Reduction

The Damage Reduction Attribute decreases the amount of Damage incurred by a ship when attacked. This modifier is expressed as a percentage and affects all Damage inflicted by firing a Weapon.

Damage Vulnerability

The Damage Vulnerability Attribute increases the amount of Damage incurred by a ship when attacked. This modifier is expressed as a percentage and affects all Damage inflicted by firing a Weapon.
