Earning Experience

Experience earned is based on your level and the level of the NPC killed.

  • Even-leveled kills are worth 75 experience points.
  • Experience is doubled (to 150) or reduced to 0 exp, within a +/- 20 level range, respectively.
    • e.g. if you are level 10 and kill a level 31 NPC, you will earn 150 experience.
    • e.g. if you are level 30 and kill a level 9 NPC, you will earn 0 experiecne.
  • If Hardcore Mode is turned on, all experience earned is doubled.

Passive Stats

As a ship gains levels in Rings of Night, passive stat bonuses are earned.
