BlackDollars (BD) are the premium currency in The Infinite Black.

BlackDollars can be used to:
- Engineer equipment to make them more powerful
- Trade for Credits being sold by other players
- Earth Jump and Corp Jump
- BlackDollar Repair
- Purchase bonuses and special ships on The Black Dollar Menu
- Buy new ships at a planet's Ship Factory (1 BlackDollar = $1,000 Credits)
- Buyout items on the Auction House (1 BlackDollar = $1,000 Credits)
- Buy items found in StarPorts (1 BlackDollar = $1,000 Credits)
BlackDollars can be obtained by:
- Anniversary level rewards
- Selling Credits to other players
- Finding them as NPCs loot drops
- harvesting asteroids
- Defeating Invasions
- Winning Contests
- Discovering and completing Server First Achievements
- Purchasing them to help support The Infinite Black and keep it running!
