Sometimes enemies players and NPCs move around The Map and Game World when you're trying to fight them.

Players can follow friendly ships by tapping on them and accessing the Ship Action Menu then pressing the Follow button.

By long-pressing on an enemy target, you can set your ship to auto-Follow mode. While it is on, your ship will follow the enemy when they jump out of a sector.

Auto-follow can be turned off by tapping on the same ship, long-pressing on a new ship, or defeating the enemy in combat.

  • The iOS client also has a Follow Button that can be used to toggle follow on or off.

When you are Grappled and Dragged out of a sector by an enemy NPC or player, your follow target is "paused" until you manually jump back to the sector you came from.

If you are auto-following a friendly target who is moving faster than your ship, you will catch up to them as soon as they stop moving.
